This very bright looking Marlborough Green Gecko (Naultinus manukanus) was spotted while Arapaoa Kiwi trustees, Mark Denize and Steve Dawson, were up the Narawhia track on Arapaoa Island recently to work on track line clearing for our upcoming pilot programme.
Dan Palmer from DOC says Arapaoa Island has one of the remaining large populations of this gecko in the Sounds.
